Hi Gents,
I desperately need a hazard switch for my 1983 Excel.
I've tried Lotus Bits and they have been helpful but we've been snookered, there is apparently 2 types of switches 7 pin on the earlier models and 6 pin on the later.
I need the 7 pin type.
Does anyone know what other vehicles this switch could have been used in?
My car is off the road at moment  as this switch bridges power to the indicators, so need it ASAP.
Thanks and regards
Ken

The later ones (collumn and indicator stalks) are coming from Toyota (Sunny etc.) not sure about your version, but I would guess BL / Austin.

Thanks for the information Jimmy.
After spending 3 weeks looking for the switch in other cars, ended up modifying the wiring and using a switch out of a Holden Commodore, figured if I had found an identical switch it would break sooner or later "due to the design of the internal plastic pad" mine broke without being touched, the plastic just gave way.
Anyhow the switch still suits the dash so I'm lucky.
