Re: Peter James Multi Vehicle Insurance
Having looked at multicar, I prefer to insure each car individually with agreed values to match. Having made a claom a few years ago, it was invaluable! As for breakdown cover I've got a policy that covers me, not the cars, so whatever car I'm in I'm covered

My first car for me a 1973 Bond Bug 700 ES the ES meant it had an ashtray and hydraulic rod to lift the lid. Park anywhere, smiles everywhere but not one to drive is any sort of side wind

I'm inclined to think such articles are all 'click-bait'. The provocative comments and bizarre valuations being simply designed to create chatter. That said, always good to see an Excel feature prominently

Re: Engine control by auto gearbox.
Sorry for being late to the party - anything to do with the ignition electrics would have been my first port of call. Just had a similar experience on an old VW; dizzy was loose and rotor arm had melted! Quickish fix and then off to help another similarly afflicted car and in that case, the condense...

Ride Height
Having spent too much time scraping poor Lottie's undercarriage at the recent Lotus in the Park weekend, I resolved to adjust the ride height. The car has fully adjustable LEDA shockers so I've been playing around today adjusting the rear-end with the front end yet to be sorted, but I'd like to chec...

Re: Lotus in the Peak 2019
Cut to 4.57 and there follows the Charles Cotton Excel crew (or most of us!!) Great weekend once again and looking forward to the next one - and for next year I will get the car height sorted (already reading up on my LEDA shockers to work out how to a) lift the ride height and b) soften the ride a ...

Seat Back Release
The seat back release on the passenger side isn't releasing when I lift the wooden knob; it moves a little but not as much as the driver's side equivalent. Before I start pulling things apart can anyone offer some guidance on how I get it working it again? All help appreciated
