Re: Cheap Eclát and expensive Excel
I viewed the Eclat as being an S2 it was ticking the right boxes as well as being tax exempt, unfortunately it needed too much work for me, As well as the bad points listed, most of the exterior window trims were damaged as well as both door beams and hinge pins being well shot, headlights had been ...

Re: Mileage Issue
Speedo change? Other than that it’s just a matter of looking at old MOT’s, history, receipts for parts, ie tyres etc which will give a clue as to usage and contacting previous owners and the like.
Good Luck

Cheap Eclát and expensive Excel
Well, we seem to have the two extremes on Ebay currently. The white Eclát running project and the seemingly immaculate 92 Excel. Re: Boot Floor Missing Bracket
I would go with either furniture grade birch faced ply ( tends to have more laminated layers for strength and would help it keep flat) or a marine grade wbp ply, either way I would also varnish them. Firstly to keep them from getting damp and secondly, some of the glues can really stink ( animal bi-...

Re: SE Gear knob
I’ve found a guy in Holland selling genuine TRD gear knobs at £30 each, they are black leather with red stitching and as they fit Supra’s I assume they will fit an Excel. There are a couple of problems, they have an aluminum bezel at the base in silver, this could be anodised or painted black. The T...
