The esprit seat is a fixed bucket iirc. Would look crap in an excel.

Hi Stu, totally agree about the bucket seats but there is a pair of black leather seats on fleabay that have been removed from a GT3 so I was wandering if they would fit an Excel because they fitted an Esprit?

I believe it is actually a Ford XR3i knob as well (assuming its an SE), which may actually be more expensive than buying it for a Lotus these days - non SE's of that period sometimes had the round wooden knob.

Over the last couple of weeks I have been replacing my headlining because it was very badly needed (see photo's later). Having not done anything like this before I was amazed that the actual hardest part was deciding on what fabric to use - I went from 'as per Lotus' to diamond stitched leather look...

Jean Pierre, I can’t see on your picture whether the spats fitted to SEs on the rear of the rear wheel arch were fitted to your car. They are kind of a small fibreglass mudflap! It would be interesting to know.
