Well the speedo is out and will be off to be repaired and serviced tomorrow
I did think about doing the repair myself, but I am reasonably certain I would have crack the lens knowing my luck

I have enjoyed the two events so far and would be happy to do it in Norfolk again, pubs a tour of places associated with Oliver. I also like the idea it is a stand alone and intimate event. Marks it out a little. Tag on to another event and it will loose that Good point, but a bit like the CTL tour...

I had mine repaired by JDO. I have a feeling in my waters that your snag is a simple fix. And discussed in the threads. Start searching. Replacement is easy. On my 1988 Excel SE the speedometer has developed a fault
It records the speed but not the miles covered
Has anybody swapped out the speedometer?
If so any tips etc?

Just had the Excel serviced at Classic Sports Cars Limited in Stourport-on-Severn. They ex Paul Matty boys. Running lovely. I had new anti roll bar bushes fitted on the front. The old ones were completely worn out Also passed the MOT So far in 2023 managed seven local events However the speedometer ...
