Thanks Angus, Alan,
hopefully I can get the MOT out the way and sort the speedo out afterwards.

Re: What are your aims for 2010??
1. Two new rear tyres
2. Replace door seals
3. Find a wiper blade that works
4. Carb set-up (running like a pig at the moment)
5. Get the front fogs working
All the above in January hopefully.
6. Last but not least, start attending events again.

Re: Rear Suspension/Dampers
Many thanks all,
I think I'll give Mike a call at lotusbits, you never know he may have a real bargain laying around.
I've got to do something and quick, the smallest hole in the road and the rear is all over the place

Rear Suspension/Dampers
Hello All, Your help is needed. I need to replace the rear dampers on my 88'Se :( At the moment my options are a second hand set from Mike at Lotusbits (assuming he has some), or a brand new set of adjustable dampers from SJ's. Now, I would prefer a new set obviously, but don't really want or need t...

Hello All (Again)
Just a quick hello again to all. I've not posted for a while but look in on the site regularly.I noticed more success at Donnington following our initial stand a couple of years ago, well done all. I'm still running my 88'SE as my daily transport, with regular trips to Cornwall in between. I've had ...

Re: Steering wheel woble under braking
Thanks all,
I'm hopefully having the cambelt changed next week so I'll get it checked and post the results.
It's driving me mad.

Steering wheel woble under braking
Hello all, I've not posted for a while but I'm still lurking in the background.
I'm getting quite a severe steering wheel woble under braking, but only in the 40-50mph speed bracket. Above or below this speed its Ok.
Any ideas o'wise ones

That is amazing, all credit to you for taking it on. As I said in my earlier post, I live just down the road from your uncles' house. I stopped a couple of times in my Excel when your uncle was busy outside, and he seemed to take real pleasure in looking at my car. He kept saying that he would get i...

Alan, I've still got the laminated A4 sheets we used on the poster boards last year, history of the Eclat/Excel etc. Only problem is, I may only be able to make the Sunday this year. I'll confirm this with you in the next couple of days and if needs be I'll post the laminated sheets to you so that y...
