Re: Advice wanted for re-painting cam covers

Just ordered my paint of ebay as it was cheaper than frosts as they add 6.95 for postage. False economy as I bought 2 cans for some reason

Re: What a difference new Vs old tyres

Curve ball from the right. Age of the tyre is one factor which determines their serviceability. Most people are using thread depth as their marker for a good tyre. However, low annual usage extends the life of the tyre based on thread depth. But this can be a killer - example in the recent bus crash...

Re: I now own this

WELCOME oops caps lock. You are nearly as green as me and I bet your smile is just as wide. I am 14 days into my ownership. There is a map link showing locations of many owners but I cant remember where I saw it. Were you at Goodwood today ?

Re: Aircon Connections

Has anyone ever found a 90 degree elbow to fit the gap and come direct off the compressor to allow conversion to r134a connections?

Thanks again for guidance. I had found that article earlier whilst looking for the connection info. A very handy MOD that one. :)

Hi, I have been looking for info on Aircon re-gasing. Are there any points I need to be aware of?

Re: Gear Box or Not?!?!?!?

Hi Kingmaker.
Can I ask what was the noise you heard prior to the breakdown?

I too have an SA, with an audible whine, of which I can control the pitch with the throttle :?

Being deaf on one side doesn't help me triangulate the source.

Cheers

Re: do i have bits missing from my brakes?

Can I resurrect this and ask what the out come was, as I have a similar feel of inefficient braking, - but I know I have 2 sticky calipers to start with.

Turning Circle /

Hi

On full lock I find the tyres are rubbing, is this a usual occurrence or should I be looking for a nasty? 205's fitted.

Re: Worst day of my life????????

I take it there is history related to wiper motors, but first I would at least check the fuse and supply before ripping a dash out.
