Re: Road spring top seats-sizes?

One thing I forgot to mention is the orientation of the rear spring is very important at the top and must have the top coils equally spaced about the top arm bolt.

Sorry.

Re: Road spring top seats-sizes?

I don't really know how to answer this as I keep being told that I am too abrasive, abrupt and direct on my posts. I am sorry if I come across like this to you but I am the person that posted the pictures and reply when you asked about doing the front spring and damper assembly. Yesterday I put the ...

Re: Front spring fitting

I found that was the only way I could get my springs out, I was already replacing both ball joints anyway. One important thing to remember ( as you might see in the photo ) the bottom nylock nut and the top arm nut MUST be torqued up with the car on the floor with the wheel on. NOT just under jack l...

Re: A 12V Power Supply

I want this 12v 10A supply UNDER THE BONNET so I can put a variable thermostatic temperature radiator fan switch to turn the fans on as a over ride to the otter switch. It will have a 10A in line fuse to a relay with another fuse in the relay. I want to put this switch in TO KEEP THE FANS RUNNING be...

A 12V Power Supply

I am looking for a continuous power supply of 12V at 10A that gives me this even with the engine running or turned off and without the ignition turned on or off. I can't use the Phone auxiliary plug as it is taken up by a very sophisticated alarm system that has a control panel in the glove box with...

Re: Indicator Side Repeaters.

I bought a pair of these for my Scimitar GTE back in March they are self adhesive but fitted well because where the screws were the plastic pins lined them up well, and the bullet connectors went straight in.

Rear Brake Shoe Replacement

Can someone tell me where I can buy new Rear Brake Shoe Actuating Lever "C" Washers. I have tried looking on Toyota Celica Supra, Amazon and Ebay sites but can't find the correct type they all seem to be "E" washers or circlips. I know that the "C" washer is soft and not of spring steel also shouldn...

Re: Body Trim Ends

I will still get it a MOT even then for my safety and for other road users, as I totally disagree with the new rules. But that is a all new topic. Anyway at 80 years old I very much doubt if I will have the eye sight let alone a licence to drive it. As for what you asked about letting the aficionado...

Re: Body Trim Ends

I don't need these anymore as a very nice guy contacted me and said he knows someone with a 3D printer that might be able to make them for me. He kept in contact with me on and off for about 6 weeks, as the first ones he had made came to him in white. He said he would go back and ask if he could hav...

Many thanks if you have one I can have cheap.

Re: Ever heard of this one?

I got a funny email from ebay saying someone has hacked this guys sight and to stop, even though I am a ebay member and that it should be stopped. I got this as a personal warning to me. It didn't say that as much but the way it reads I got the message. I still don't know if this is a fake ad but be...
