who said anything about £12K...............................? :?: the last bid was £7,550.00 ............. if that doesnt prove a thriving interest i dont know what does. and this is just a series one Elite which looks very good but still not perfect or totally original. so what would a perfect serie...

........... if i recall there was someone who said they did not like the Elite and Eclat much...............seems their very popular now............just like the Triumph Spitfire, Stag, TR7, Lotus Europa, MG Midget..... etc etc who were very unloved once too.........................

gosh........ he doesn't like the Elite or Éclat does he lol......... ...........as I said before - ive never come across any car of any age that doesn't have faults. more often with older cars its corrosion or lack of maintenance. its not a perfect world after all.........

Sorry to see his 'slammed' Elites trunnion snapped off - hope Charlie doesn't have any body work damage. :( I cant message him on TLF forum cos they banned me - lol. ....but I hope it gets it sorted. not teaching him how to suck eggs but the only way with these is - assuming the vertical link thread...

IMHO and experience having put polys on Triumph Spitfires, Reliant Scimitars, Jaguars and MGs - in this particular use I would put Rubber spring seats on the Elite, Éclat and Excel.
