Re: NEC Restoration Show 2024 - Call for Volunteers

I can do Friday, no problem. TBH, it's probably slightly better for me than Saturday. Not sure I understand the start of this, as I had a Saturday slot and it seams you were looking for a Friday ticket. Doesn't matter though. I can meet you somewhere Richard W to collect mugs.drop me a text and we ...

Re: NEC Restoration Show 2024 - Discounted Tickets

Good morning! The "Pocket Guide" for the show will be published tomorrow, but as an exhibitor we get access a day early. This small pamphlet replaces the rather larger glossy programme they used to do, and contains all the info about show times, stands, layout, and what's on the live stage etc. If y...

Re: NEC Restoration Show 2024 - Call for Volunteers

Many apologies Tony - Richard W needs to come on the Friday to bring the merch for sale, he cannot make Thursday. So I'll have to re-allocate your ticket to Richard. I'll make sure you have priority for next year! Revised schedule: Friday 22nd: Richard Gosling Pete Boole Matt Oxley Jake Oxley Mark R...

What's the dress code?
Clothes are required. Please do not confuse it with this show:

Re: NEC Restoration Show 2024 - Call for Volunteers

Wristband admin: For build-up, wristbands are handed out at the door without restriction, you need to either scan a copy of the Site Rules (not sure if this can be seen without my login?) with your smartphone on arrival, or bring a paper copy with you. Bring decent footwear (not trainers, apparently...

Re: NEC Restoration Show 2024 - Call for Volunteers

Many thanks for all your offers to help - in the end there were a few more offers than wristbands, so Phil - thanks for you offer but this time we'll let you off, and Tony, I've put you down for Saturday only (but you can swap to a different day if preferred). The order of service for each day is: F...

Re: Door lights

Remove the delay relay (long yellow one under steering column) then you can tell instantly if what you are doing is working. Without it fitted the lights work in the same way. Does that mean that, with the relay just removed, the lights will come on and off with the door switch? My delay is very sp...

Re: Remove rear lights? And renew silvering?

8 years after initiating this topic, I finally got round to doing something about it! Well, one side, anyway. It all started when I managed to nerf a bollard while parking in the Brixworth Co-op: https://lh3.googleusercontent.com/pw/AP1GczMumH5XJpnnRTnkcjLF-9k6326ZNUbBi8hYSOz8Psj9y4tby7tQqF5td8h2SO2...

Re: NEC Restoration Show - 22-24 March 2024

Is Lotusbits on the stand this year? Pete I haven’t invited them. I tried last year, but it clashed with other things for them and they couldn’t make it, so this year I didn’t bother. In the latest missive from the organisers it states "You are not permitted to lend any part of a club stand to any ...

NEC Restoration Show 2024 - Call for Volunteers

Good afternoon you Excellent lot! The Resto show is now less than 3 weeks away. Can I have any volunteers to help be on the stand? I should get confirmation next week on our exact number of exhibitor wristbands (there should be a bonus one or two thanks to publicity efforts), but as a starting point...

Apparently there's a glitch in the system that stops you getting past the Add Card Details page - The lady who helped me - Dani - was really helpful - I suggest you phone her - the contact number is on the Voyage Control page. Pete Glitch must be fixed - I just managed to make a booking (on the web...

That's a shame! He was good, and he certainly didn't seem short of work to do. I'd be impressed if you can find anyone else with his balance of quality and price, when I was researching there seemed to be two extremes of way-too-cheap and way-too-expensive and no-one in the middle, Ray was the only ...

The seller reckons it could do with a repaint at some point. They either have very high standards, or the photos are lying, it looks pretty damned good to me!
