Well done! Looks like you have a useful little apprentice.
One day you must tell me how to persuade one's wife to allow an engine in the kitchen.
See you shortly

Re: Making replacement badges/legends
Thank you Angus! A picture is worth 1000 words. I was also trying to do it from the OneDrive app on my laptop. Sorry for being so thick. Anyway here is my new window switch badge - it's on the lower switch: https://jx6fhg.by3301.livefilestore.com/y4mTELEjlBcaPJ0YvWMsDHMoDJ483nMxR56rEjnz9BefFGC6zDs8L...

Re: Making replacement badges/legends
Thanks Angus, I've tried to do what you suggested but I'm not getting any embed option. However I'm not even sure I'm doing what you suggest!
I think I'll park it for now.

Re: Making replacement badges/legends
I don't think it does work - the link takes you to my OneDrive browser screen which isn't very satisfactory if anyone else can see it. I tried to follow the instructions posted elsewhere but couldn't find an 'embed' function in OneDrive. I find this particulatly frustrating as I spent a good chunk o...

Re: Lancaster Insurance Classic Motor Show: (NEC) 10-12 Nov
I'll be sending out the Thursday forms etc. later this week, and I have the wrist bands for Friday-Sunday here to distribute on Thursday. Meanwhile - I may need a hand to move some of the latest club "branding" gear for the stand next week if it turns out to be too big to fit in my car with all the...

Re: Making replacement badges/legends
Well done . Point from experience - after cutting a shape from a lamination pouch if you exceed the edge they fall apart. I was worried about that but the laminate seems very firmly stuck to the paper, and the badges don't have an outside edge of plastic. Maybe some laminators don't run hot enough?...

Re: Paintwork on my Elite roof
This isn't a job for my driveway so I'm trying to figure out where and when it can be done. Bit of a b....y nightmare really! I know of a nice big workshop near Birmingham. Next available in March 2018 ;) That could be interesting - I bet there won't be many other people fitting vinyly roofs! And p...

Making replacement badges/legends
I've just made a Lotus badge (for the seat recliner knob) and a WINDOW legend to replace the one missing on one of my window switches. I simply took as good a picture of each as I could with my iPhone, imported the pictures into Windows, and used Word to crop, size and and enhance the images appropr...

Re: What are you asking Santa for???
In the light of Simpatico's comment on my Elite roof thread, I'll ask SATAN (anag.) for a vinyl roof! Sounds like he might have some in stock

Re: Paintwork on my Elite roof
Vinyl roofs are the work of Satan. On the Elite the original textured vinyl roof was lapped under the brightwork including the hefty rain gutters, Frankly you don't want to be disturbing that stuff if you can help it. Well they'd be boring if they weren't controversial! I'm resigned to removing the...
