Hello, have set of 5 Speedlines, with caps and nuts, excelent condition,£125, near Leeds, Yorkshire, if that's of help. Jeff.

I needed to replace bonnet badge, so took off lower radiator duct, drilled,( with cheap hole saw) into top duct same size as Lotus use for headlight motor access, then plugged hole with a spare rubber bung, worked perfectly, should work for horns also.

I went to PIRTEK,Fluid Transfer,(a national chain I believe), they supplied me with 8mm bore rubber petrol hose,(WF-08-fuel), and a bunch of original looking "double ear clamp O clips,(OC-09), and the special pliers to crimp up the ears,(OCP-98). Forgot to ask, does anyone know where to get the correct 'semi liquid grease',used to refill the rack?

I found the universal gaiters were too short when the ends had been cut to correct diameter. My local Kut Kost found me a pair which fitted exactly, AMK Automotive Components,TSG21, only a few £'s. Mine is 1985 new shape, Essex blue with power steering.

I have an 85 Excel, and have new OZwheels for it. Problem is, the 20mm fixing studs, while fine for the original wheel's tube nut, only lets the OZ taper seat nut screw on to the top 13mm. Do late Excels have longer studs? or did they go to bolt fixings? Could someone with a late Excel help please,a...
