At that price if I was you I'd buy two and have a spare. I would stick it on the outside as it probably will last quite a long time
because how often are you going to press on it? At least it would look the same as the old one.

Re: Excel SE wanted
Mr pbharcourt did you manage to contact Dougslad about the Red Excel he is meant to be selling. As I have tried a number
of times both by PM and Email but got no reply. I just think as this is the only post he has made think it is a child playing or a scam.

Re: Dash illumination filters
'Ray-s' can you give more details of these LED Dial Bulbs ie. Type are they caped or not Wattage and if they come in different colours. A supplier and picture would be great to ensure I get the correct ones. Thanks.

Re: Excel SE wanted
I thought you "pbharcourt" was looking for a Green Excel like "bag" said his friend Michael has. But he has had no reply to the contact he made to you. So why not try again to contact him as it might be just what your looking for, with just a bit of work, which they all need something doing.

Re: Factory fit alarm?
Sigma in mine (90) is on a key fob, and if fob is lost or battery low there is a key pad in the glove box, and you have a pin number to turn it off. In the manual you can program it to turn parts off like Central Locking, Engine Bay, Boot, and Interior Censers, but you can't turn the Immobiliser off...

I would be prepared to pay a membership fee as I have already made a £20 donation to the admin in the past to help keep the site running. That said the site should only be open to view or ask for help to the members not the free loaders.

Re: New rear brake pads - bedding in period?
I had all four of mine refurbed at SJ Sports at a couple of months intervals per pair, they came back like new they only took about two weeks for each pair, they cost me about £75 each all in. They will supply refurbed replacements if you can't wait but I wanted mine back so that I knew they would f...

Re: 83 Excel from from Finland
Just a word I know it is very frustrating waiting for parts to arrive we've all been there, but you shouldn't get up tight or hassle Lotusbits as there are very few places to get parts for these old Excels. I am not saying you are wrong but I have been told in the past two days for dispatch, but som...
