Re: How to make gaskets

Mucky thumb and cereal box works. I then give the card a light coat of spray lacquer.

Re: Active Esprit

I got a reply from Classic Team Lotus..... Hi John Thank you for your email, yes, we spotted the active Esprit a couple of weeks ago, we did think about bidding but £90k/£120k is way too much for us, for what is possibly a can of worms! We made a big investment buying Paul Matty’s parts, which is sl...

Active Esprit

Nowt to do with me (or it wouldnt be for sale), the active esprit at anglia auctions, I say active, the last owner clearly didnt get the suspension working, but..... I presume the active Excel never made it out of the captivity of Hethel. Bash https://angliacarauctions.co.uk/classic-auctions/2625-27...

Cheers Richard. I seem to remember when I had that problem that it was the short rubber hose at the back of the water pump.

Ive been driving mine quite a bit lately and it saves having to have the light pods up on a grotty day. Glad you like it.

Re: DRLs, daylight running lights

Re: Steering Rack Rebuild and Track Rod Replacement

I did mine a couple of years before Richard and its been fine so Im also curious how his was cos it was a pain to do. If the teflon pinion seals look ok leave them alone ( there be dragons !! ). Its usually only the piston seals that need sorting.
