Chris - what colour are you painting the chassis? I've just finished welding the reinforcing plates for the roll-cage mountings on mine and was wondering what colour to paint it (after etch priming).

Hi Fred The hidden fixings are little plastic 'Christmas trees' which must become hard with age. They are located at each corner of the radio aperture. Mine was also difficult to remove; impossible with the radio in place. I removed the radio and used the thinnest 'lever' I could find. The panel cam...

Hi Graeme

Mike Taylor at www.Lotusbits.com can supply stainless rear seatbelt anchor brackets. They just bolt in, but can be difficult to remove because of the rust.

Thanks very much for that Spav. I think I've just decided to not have mine done! - it's not that bad anyway.

Cheers

I removed the body using a trolley jack, blocks of wood, four tall axle stands and two lengths of four x four timber. You can then just roll the chassis from under it as Spav says. Hi Chris

My rear hoop is off the car at the moment - I'd be happy to take a photo of it but I'm not sure how to post it here. I could email it to you if it would help.

Hi everyone - just joined the forum this evening.

The Donnington meeting sounds like a great idea - the perfect reason for getting on more quickly with my rebuild!
