Re: Adding photos

You need to be logged in via a web page NOT on an app on a phone, iPad etc.
ie go to Onedrive via Microsoft edge, chrome, safari etc.
it will then be as the video.

Re: Register of potential show cars

Good idea.

Happy to offer the éclat Excel prototype for display - possibly more suitable for the resto show as not exactly immaculate, although very presentable.

When the SE is finished, happy to offer that one too, but that’ll be a little while yet.

Re: Seat refurbishment

I'm in the process of making patterns and moulds to reproduce the seat foams for the Elite but I'm not really sure how similar the Excel seats are - can't remember  . I'll have to pop down to MetBlue's and compare the two side by side. It may be another year till mine are finished though, so ...

Could it have been a demonstrator? Mine was registered with the dealer for first 8 months of its life.

Re: NEC Classic Motor Show 2023 Friday 10 - Sunday 12 November 2023

We'll have a paper copy of the register I've been compiling on the stand, certainly from Saturday, and hopefully it will be there on Friday. Covers all Elites, Eclats and Excels. Over 750 cars listed, generally ordered by date of registration. Drop by and see if your cars on the list and if it is, ...

Re: SE Gear knob

Never really quite worked out how to finish the underside though, so it's been sitting by my computer for a couple of years now. As picture shows, the steel insert is just a press fit in originally. Touch of epoxy when I finally decide what i'm doing will keep it in place ( assuming I use it). Tony...

Re: I have bought an 89 Excel SA site unseen

Can you respond to the individual messages to me as i have done? - Yes you can but they can also be edited Many thanks By the way, I think this will be a fabulous car for you Stu To be honest I am a little nervous as to its pace as I have had, some 20 odd years ago, two SE's and currently have seve...

Complete Eclat S2 interior for sale

Nothing to do with me, but could be a bargain for someone. Only slight negative is it’s cloth, but looks good condition. Last time I saw this material was in a Riviera https://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/256270002050?mkcid=16&mkevt=1&mkrid=711-127632-2357-0&ssspo=YLUv3Xo5QpK&sssrc=4429486&ssuid=&widget_ver=a...

Re: Brake pedal adjustment

You might get away bleeding just one front and one rear, but, personally I would do a full bleed as I don’t take chances with brakes and cost would only be about a tenner in fluid total and a little extra time. You’re then good for another 2 to 3 years.

It’s been for sale for about 6 months. I was interested until I found out the bit that makes it a Riviera (the removable roof had been replaced with perspex(I think) panel.

Re: 1992 Excel SE - How far is too far?

Many find that water runs down the door seal externally and jumps inside by capillary action when it hits the bottom curve. An application of sealant on the u channel down the length of the vertical and past the bend helps to keep the water outside. There are other possibilities but try that first ...

Re: Headlining

The clips A004 too. Wedged into seal. Maybe behind interior light too. So does A001 comprise front AND side rail trims as one unit? If so, looks like a nightmare to get off without marring something. Trimming tools needed rather than a flat blade screwdriver! Thanks for diagram btw, Neil. Yes, it’s...
