Here are a couple of pics I found trawling the net - pearl white with no waist trim. https://onedrive.live.com/embed?resid=CCEFEB35161B6EBD%213229&authkey=%21ANjqwdaD4pgUuB0&width=1200&height=675 https://onedrive.live.com/embed?resid=CCEFEB35161B6EBD%213230&authkey=%21ADy-mPYH7lamMNY&width=675&heigh...

Thanks everyone - we're marching on, but having to deal with insurance companies is also taking its toll!

Re: New member - Excel SA

Today's update is unfortunately not a good one, and there will be an effect on my completion time..... Last week my wife, my 2 kids and myself were held up at gunpoint in our house - it happened in the early evening, and despite already having abnormal amounts of security, we were taken by surprise....

Re: New member - Excel SA

Thanks Pete - sometimes other things just get in the way and time runs away! I have quite a few things to do still before paint - some alterations to the engine bay for a bit more clearance - so that means getting the engine in and out a couple of times which is challenging! The outlet for the power...

Re: New member - Excel SA

Oops - I see it has been 2 months since I last updated this - sometimes time just flies. Progress meanders on - it is winter here (so a bit like the UK summer  ) and I've spent a lot of time scratching my head wondering how to get past the various obstacles as they crop up. As usual there was s...

Re: Quick question What do these black boxes do?

I've not seen any wiring with screw-in type connections in any car wiring I've looked at - always plugs, so pretty sure it's not standard. I don't have those items in my car either.

Hi Tony,

Here is page 17 - not a great copy, but should be OK to use - can send the other pages as well off this scan.

Re: LSD diff for sale.

My parts list shows that it was 4.1 until chassis no. 89D2237 and then 3.9 from then (also shows VIN no.s for LHD drive cars) - these are notes pencilled in so can't guarantee they are correct....

Re: New member - Excel SA

Thanks - those were my thoughts - air filters only seem to get changed every 30,000 kms or so these days....could take a while  Another picture below to clarify the tab and lip - the white fiberglass is the new lip, it does help stiffen up that edge, and once together seems to be relatively sol...

Re: New member - Excel SA

I have done a bit more work on the radiator ducting - I need to have access to the new new air-filter arrangement which is mounted on the top half of the duct. The only way I could work out how to do it was to split the bottom tray in half and make it removeable, giving me access to the top half. Th...

Re: First job jobbed - 2 more found !!!

Nice Tony - useful pics for me as I have no backboard, nor the battery cover - will need to make some up at some point. Will also need to renew the other bits, but at least I have templates for those.
