Re: Virtual meetings anyone?

I’m sorry there hasn’t been a Zoom meeting for a few weeks - life gets in the way! As always please feel free to set up and announce a meeting rather than waiting for me. Looking at my diary, the next one I can do is Wednesday 4 October at 7.15 pm.

Cheers, Richard

Hi Mike, welcome and I’m looking forward to looking at your videos and seeing your progress. There is plenty of technical expertise on this forum (myself excluded!) and I’m sure members will be very happy to help you.

Re: Emeya

It looks a bit better and more purposeful without the camouflage. This picture from an article in Autocar from about a week ago , which also states that the official launch day is today. I hope those bonnet vents serve some actual practical purpose and are not just there for styling. My pet hate (w...

The discount code for ticket purchases is available at https://www.lotusexcel.net/viewtopic.php?f=15&t=12916 for registered members of the forum. Please use our code to buy tickets if you are visiting; we regularly get criticised by the organisers for poor ticket sales, but have no shortage of visit...

Re: NEC Classic Motor Show 2023 Friday 10 - Sunday 12 November 2023

Thanks for request for more photos - here are a few more showing the side and rear views. I would like to tweak the boot lid a little, and have an idea in mind. I do have a big problem with the clutch - the expression "Work in Progress" is applicable. Mike Taylor is going to have a look at it next ...

Re: NEC Classic Motor Show 2023 Friday 10 - Sunday 12 November 2023

For consideration I normally attend this show religiously and spend two days there (Fri & Sat) lurking around the stand like a schoolboy ‘as you do’ with gang in tow. This year I have organised a weeks leave prior to the show with the plan to prepare and exhibit one of my vehicles for all three day...

Re: Oliver Winterbottom estate auction

Everything has now been listed on the auction website and online bids are being made. Taking a look through, there isn’t very much that is directly related to the Elite, Eclat and Excel (apart from brochures, books and magazines that are generally available anyway). A couple of lots include items re...

I agree with Tony about more piccies - and your offer to exhibit is noted Marcus - we haven’t had many offers but I do have some feelers out. Give it another week or so when we will have a bit more of a short list to choose from. Your car does look stunning!

Re: NEC Restoration Show - 22-24 March 2024

Well, with talk now turning to the November NEC Classic Car show, that's reminded me of next March's Restoration Show. I've had a couple of reminders about applying for a stand for The Lotus Grand Tourers. If everyone is happy about this, I'll go ahead and put in an application. If anyone has an id...

What a terrible experience Neil. At least you all got out of it relatively unscathed. I share everyone’s sentiments and let’s hope time can do some healing.

All the best, Richard
