Just spent the day getting the bushes & pin in. Not absolutely straightforward ...

Re: Exciting times

Just had another look at the prepping... Apparently the passenger door was "a bit stiff" to open. It appears that the door beam has rotted through and snapped at the hinge as and the hinge pin is seized solid in the beam. So the door and hinges are now off in one piece & we'll be looking to do a new...

Re: Exciting times

Went to a look at progress yesterday. OMG what a mess, apparently the prev owner's cheap respray was pretty shoddy with lots of micro blisters. Seems to be getting a good thorough prep though, looking forward to seeing some paint going on!

Excited but a little nervous.

Looking forward to the spring now.

Re: Emergency Services

I'd be happy to help out if anyone had the misfortune to be in Lowestoft or nearby.

I recently had the assistance of a chap in an Austin Healey replica, which was most appreciated, turned out be be a toasted coil.

Red Riviera at Earsham Hall, Suffolk

Very poor showing of Lotuses at Earsham Hall for the Bungay Lions Club Classic show, a couple of Elans, an Esprit in the car park, but a nice Riviera on show. I didn't see anyone around who looked responsible though!
My Excel is still "resting" I'm afraid.

Re: Window stuck down

My driver's door window does exactly the same, gets stuck if fully lowered, I can get it up (snigger) if I can pull up the top edge and power at the same time.
Currently I just never fully lower the window !
