I think it's just Mick Miller Classic Lotus but from what I understand they only sell parts for Elan.

Hi Mauro,

Looks like you have a good project there with quite a rare car. I do like the narrowbody Eclat Excel; I have a narrowbody Elite Excel (that is, an Elite with Excel chassis frame!)

If it helps, I know Lotusbits well and would be happy to talk to them about parts on your behalf if you email me with your requirements.

Cheers, Richard

Thank you for your interest in Lotusbit. I have already sent a couple of emails but they never replied.
For now I need little stuff because something I am doing rebuild like the original in Italy and something I got from SJ.
If you could tell them to read my mails.
Otherwise, I call next week with phone.
this is what i need for now new or good used.

Door Mirrors are really hard to find. Until someone clears out their bottom drawer you just have to bide your time.

Rear view mirror is from a ford escort and such like. Dont go for the mexico version as they are the same and carry the Lotus mark up.

Gear knobs are easy to find.

I'll post to Brett on the face book page and get him to look up your email. (if he still works there)

Lotusbits are usually very bad at answering emails. Phone calls get answered immediately.

That's looking superb. And all done on a short time frame by most standards. Hope she drives as well as she looks.
Nice work.

The red interior is fabulous.

Red seems to showcase very well, the sharp lines of the original Giugiaro interior.

A cohesive interior design and a nice place to be. 8)

First exit all right. A little to review the carburetion.
I took the thermostat off. Today it's almost 40 degrees here.

I have park a little outside the lines, but I have to get used to driving with the drive the right. :D
