-5 degrees and no blower fan! Not good with 130 miles to drive. Found a rather nasty looking fuse - 20 amps too! I hope the cause is high resistance corrosion and not the resistor pack. Fuse replaced 4 speed blower back in action.

They don't make fuses to last nowadays -- Anyone got a nail?

I'd be giving the fan motor a good clean and service - seem to recall mine was full of rubbish.

When the nail gets red hot it may melt the whole fuse box!

The root cause appears to be a misaligned spade in the the fuse box.

The fuse was locked in the recess by one spade, the other side riding outside the other spade but touching to make contact.

This then chattered causing the heat.

I will be cutting the wires out and fitting a stand alone fuse carrier just for that circuit. I'm not changing the whole module just for one.

Don't worry about the fan then!

That was done on my car, bumped the fuse up to 20 amps from 5 I think.....helpful that, might be why the red light in the passenger door melted.

Quick and easy system on the Hi Spec calipers. Took longer to jack the car up than to change the pads.

Are you holding those pads between your bum cheeks ?

I had lost the rubber bung from the aerial mount.
Whilst doing some sealing with a silicon gun tube, I had to clear the old sealant from the nozzle.
This gave me an idea :!:
It normally can be removed when dry, whole in perfect form of the nozzle. A nice tapered wedge.
I could then gauge the diameter against the hole and make a perfect silicon plug :)

Saw a Ferrari yesterday.

A bit tatty, no brakes and would not start.
