Curborough track day: 2nd April

I've done Curborough a few times in the Clan (Imp Club events) but only in the dry on warm sunny days. There's no shelter if it rains IIRC (except in your car). Great value for money. It cost me £50 last time for all day with fairly unlimited access - but only one car allowed on track - it's too narrow for racing. Timing wasn't allowed either - but we did it on the sly - and if you have mapped ignition/EFI you can log it to get a time etc. My roadgoing 45-50 mpg Clan returns 7 mpg on track - DHLA's like 'a drink' at WOT! Also because it's a tight, short, relatively low-speed circuit you are in the lower gears at high rpm most of the time which will test your cooling - especially oil cooling! So might be worth wishing for a cold day!
