Still on (posted on a new thread which was probably a mistake) - if all else fails I'll give you a walkaround of my seized door hinge and my offside headlight lift motor in perpetual motion!!

Couldn't see the new thread on either this forum or TFL, but doesn't matter now we have link.
I've been working on cleaning up my roll bar recently, and have done a mod to make the striker plate nut plate captive on the B post. I could share a bit of the detail on that if anyone is interested.
