Yup - now set a date for the next Resto show of 18-20 March next year.

Hopefully I'll have done my roof lining by then! (But don't count on it...)

I'll just go with something close to the original. I've not given it much thought yet, still working with my wife to make progress on the seats, but home schooling leaves little time and energy. Maybe next week...

As your Mrs is handy with the needle and thread, get the standard woolies covering and sew a backing piece of material (curtain liner or muslin type) to it. Sew in lines every 10 cm to create the pleated padded look.

It comes out nice

Yeah, I've seen that done, looks good. But with a glass sunroof taking up much of the roof above the driver, it'll only really be noticeable for the roof above the rear seats. May still do it anyway!

Don’t worry Richard, there will be a new thread for the 2022 show, so abuse this thread as much as you wish! Actually it’s a great place to put Resto show type restoration topics in place of the real thing.
