Re: Hampshire meet up April?
I don't know what the car park is like at Farley Mount or how well it is used but all the country car parks and near me and the Selborne Car Park where we met last time are filling up really fast at the moment. People are coming out earlier to make sure they get a space.
Suggest 9am is the very latest time and probably 8am would be better.
If anyone has used this car park recently then you may have a better idea of a time for us to meet.
If anyone else is coming can I suggest that you post on this thread first so that we don't end up breaking lockdown rules. I think we have four definite at the moment so room for two more.

Re: Hampshire meet up April?
Please see below for the coordinates (latitude, longditude) of 'The Junction Car Park' at Farley Mount. If you copy/paste these into Google Maps or Bing Maps it will show you where the car park is:
51.060317,-1.402562
Also, as a backup, below are a couple of downloadable PDF maps. Please just click on these and they should be displayed on your screen (please be patient as my little server is quite slow)

Any Probs, please just let me know.

Re: Hampshire meet up April?
Excellent maps. Thanks.
It's just over one hour from my place so I'll aim to arrive around 8:30.

Just under an hour for me so will see you there around 8.30.
Thank you for the grid reference Martin.
Mark.
PS - post code for that car park seems to be SO21 2JG.

Re: Hampshire meet up April?
Glad that it helped. I'll time my arrival for 8:30 as well then. It's actually not that far for me. It'll be great to catch up with everyone again.
Is Stuart going to represent the Oxfordshire Chapter or is it too far?

Re: Hampshire meet up April?
I'd be up for this, if we're still below 6 cars?
Looks like the name is "West Wood Car Park" on Google Maps even though its correct name is "The Junction Car Park".

Re: Hampshire meet up April?
We're up to five people now so room for one more.
NB. that postcode I gave you is from Google Maps but doesn't work with my Sat Nav so forget that.
At the moment I can't get the grid reference to work either! - don't you just love technology!
All OK now - finally got the Sat Nav to accept Martin's grid reference and figure out where I wanted to go!
If anyone else wants to put the grid reference into the Sat Nav then you have to leave a space where the comma is - but then you probably all new that!

I'll take no.6. The car needs awakening after the inaction of the last year.

A very enjoyable meeting, if a little cold, and a very nice group walk up to the Mount.
Great to see everyone again.

Great to catch up with you all again today, and welcome Grant and Simon.
As Shaun says, look like I'm gathering wind to make a take-off in the picture above
