Yep - any scenic route taking in Winnats Pass is about 80 miles and nearly 3 hours - without stopping/heavy traffic/rain. I think we need a café after about 2 hrs! I'll do a bit of research on cafes in/near Edale.

I'll also see if I can work out a slightly shorter but equally scenic route.

I've also booked a table for 6 on Sat 31st at 6.45 at The New Bath Hotel, and double-checked the two tables on the 10th.

I've found three reasonable-looking cafes around Edale/Hope. We'll have a look at them on Wednesday :D. The one in Edale has the best parking by far!

We're happy to lead the way to the café in Edale since we know the area, but equally happy to follow a green Elise - or any other Lotus for that matter! Just happy to be taking part :D

And for those of you who are athletically-inclined the Pennine Way starts in Edale! :D. Only 268 miles - see you back in time for dinner

We're calling into the New Bath Hotel on Friday just to confirm our bookings/cancellations. Shall I book a table for Saturday 31st? How many of us will there be - who's coming on the new LITP dates?

Pete
Lynne and I will only be there for the original dates and not the new dates. If the forecast is dry I might bring the M100 just for a change - leaks like a sieve.

That will be great to see. That’ll mean we have our own little assorted lotus club with Excel’s Elise and Elan ( maybe etc)

Looing forward to seeing everyone on the 10th. I was gutted when I realised Claire and I couldn't make it on the revised LITP weekend but I think the mini meet is going to be good

Pauline's written up the route today + maps - it's a good run :D. With coffee + buns part way through! Going to see on Wednesday if we can book tables at the café for Sunday morning. Looking forward to it!

Earliest we can get breakfast Sunday morning is 7:30. Even though it's not an official LITP I still think we need an early-ish start to avoid traffic - a mid summer Sunday in the Peak District will be busy.
