Yep, but I think cruise control would be nice to help with the 180ish mile journey up.

I don't know whether you have already seen this but for all you guys booked on the classic run two of our run group leaders: Paul and Duncan have produced a little youtube video of this year's classic run route. Paul will be one of the classic run leaders and his gorgeous Elan was voted winner of car of the day last year.
https://youtu.be/7FTRq-mPGOI

If you still wish to all travel in the same group then don't forget to provide me a list of MLOC names of all those booked on and we'll make sure you're together. Similarly if you would like a dedicated 'Lotus Grand Tourers' pitch at Chatsworth to promote lotusexcel.net then please give me an idea of numbers nearer the time and we'll allocate a suitable space. :)

We are very excited to announce we have already surpassed the amazing milestone of 200 cars booked. This really is going to be the best 'Lotus in the Peak' yet :)
Well done all of you 👏👏👏
Places on the early morning runs are getting very near to capacity now, especially the Matlock Bath route so to avoid disappointment please book your places now and please also don't forget your raffle tickets in aid of Rainbows Hospice for Children and young people. Thank you.

Even once the run places are full you will still of course be able to book to arrive direct to Chatsworth.

A little update on raffle prizes for those of you not on Facebook...

In addition to the two race shirts from Classic Team Lotus we have also now announced an ‘A’ service form PJS Sports Cars and a Lotus Holdall and Accumate battery charger from Hangar 111.
PJS Sports Cars also generously sponsor our ‘Car of the Day’ competition - Thanks Paul and Louise and a huge thanks to all our sponsors for their continuing support of LitP – many more prizes still to be announced in the coming weeks with all proceeds going to Rainbows Children’s Hospice.

Raffle tickets and your place at LitP can be purchased at https://www.midlandslotus.co.uk/forum/litpbooking/

Note that places on the Matlock Bath runs are now full but we still have places available on both the Ashbourne and Classic runs as well as Direct to Chatsworth for those not wishing to do a run. :)

And Central Lotus have been magnificent in their support this year. Not only have they offered an 'A' service and a Lotus jacket for the raffle but they have also donated three superb auction prizes:-

An indoor car cover of your choice to suit an Elise,Exige or Evora

A Lotus approved machine polish and ceramic paint protection worth £500

and not forgetting the small item of a full days use of their very own Emira, fully insured.

A huge thanks to Connor and all the team at Central Lotus 👏

All proceeds from the raffle and auction will go to the Rainbows Hospice so don't forget to bring your wallets! :)
