Sorry, I'm getting my Alan's confused - yes, I've got you down for Friday and Saturday if that's OK!

Yes, that's Fine- assume you have me confused with Alan Moss on the chart then?

Some more show info:

Timings:
  • Build-up on Thursday is 9:00 - 7:00. There is also option to build-up on Wednesday 2:00 - 6:00, but we shouldn't need that.
  • On show days we can get in from 8:00am.
There seems to be a system for booking deliveries, BUT it doesn't apply to show cars, so we should not need to use it since everything will be arriving inside the show cars. This rule does not seem to apply during break-down as far as I can tell, so no need for Richard W to book in to come to the stand to collect the show material.

Matt and I will need to display Display Vehicle Passes in the cars on arrival. These can be printed from here

Richard W - there is also a Delivery Vehicle Pass which you may need to display when collecting stuff, that can be downloaded here

There is a car delivery schedule; since we are right by the door we are at the end of the schedule, so our time is 11:00-12:00. Which suits me fine, plenty of time to wash the car before heading over!

Wristbands/car park passes:
  • I will collect these from the box office on Thursday and distribute as required.
  • Send me a text when you get to the show, I will meet you at the door and give you your pass(es).
  • Wristbands are also needed during set-up / break-down. These are simply handed out on arrival on Set-Up day.
  • We get two free car parking passes. It seems like it's just two physical passes which can be re-used (for different cars if desired) each day, which makes it a slight PITA if different people use them each day.
  • Other than Richard W on Sunday, who would like a free car park pass?
I think/hope that's everything, please ask if there are any questions!

They usually want people on Thursday wearing hi-vis jackets.

Valid point Tony that I didn’t mention. I have bought 3 just in case anyone needs one, I’ll bring them on Thursday.

My train on Friday gets in 9:05, so you'll have to hang around outside for a short while until I can arrive and give you a wristband. The show doesn't actually open to the public until 10:00 anyway (9:00 on Saturday and Sunday).

Sorry not to see you this time Pete. Your nicely machined peg is now glued in place on the heater distribution box, and working perfectly - thank you! There are photos on the Facebook page, but I haven’t had a chance to get them off my phone and stored somewhere I can link to them on the forum (yet).

Glad the peg worked out OK. What adhesive did you use in the end?

JB Weld. Filled the gap (had to drill the hole a little oversize), took longer to cure but really solid now.
