Yep - I'll be there. Should we start the usual accommodation search in the new year?

Yes will plan to attend in the Elite. First time as it doesn't clash with 2024 Sprint / Hill Climb Championship calendar dates. Would appreciate advice on accommodation etc. when available.

Thanks

Andy

Oh Yes!!!

Certainly planning for us to be there.
This year I booked in February - they had a promotion with discount on rooms - might be worth waiting to see if they do the same next year ?

Location for the Sunday is not yet know as far as I can see, but irrespective, I'm more than happy to take same accomodation as this year.

Lynne and I are happy to go with the Manifold again. Not much going on around it but food was good and reasonable price.
Cheers, Phil

Sunday seems to be planned for Bamford Recreation Ground - 45 minutes from the Manifold Inn :( . No details of runs yet as far as I can see.

Have booked to stay at the Manifold for the Saturday and Sunday night. Will probably link it with a few days work in Staffordshire before and after.

Booked in at the Manifold for Friday and Saturday.

I guess in terms of distance from event, it’s more about where the runs will start from, if the same as the last couple of years.

So being a LITP newbie, do I get from this there will be nothing organized for during the day on Saturday? Maria was hoping to visit something in Matlock at some point on our travels and from this it looks like she could do that on the Saturday? In which case we will do that and plan the few days either side of the weekend accordingly.

Thanks for any advice

There’s nothing official on the Saturday, but they do organise a drive out on Saturday morning.
Last year it terminated at the Great British Car Journey, I believe this year it’s going to finish at a nice pub for lunch. They take you on some great, less used roads.
I will probably book on to that again this year.
There are details on the website I put the link to.

The other useful bits are - we normally book on to the Classic run on the Sunday and, if not already, will need to join the MLOC forum to buy tickets.
