Binnacle removal, again

Post by mrpmarchant »

I have to recover the dashboard binnacle now!
I have a later SA (1987) and note from the service notes that there are 6 number M6 bolts, but only 4 are shown on the diagram.
3 of these can be seen from the panel below the steering wheel, so no problems there, and I am sure I can find the one above the radio.
Anyone know where the other two are, and whether they are vertical (like the 4) or horizontal?
Any information appreciated.
Be great if a photo of a binnacle from the back could be provided
regards

One of them is a real Heath-Robinson affair: A tube-nut on the end of a piece of silicone hose - I kid you not! It's bottom left corner, at the front.

It's called a "pulsert" and pulsert extension.

And they still use them...they even still have the official original A075 part numbers...

They're the clips that (fail to) hold the trim panels in the footwells. ;)
