I have to recover the dashboard binnacle now!
I have a later SA (1987) and note from the service notes that there are 6 number M6 bolts, but only 4 are shown on the diagram.
3 of these can be seen from the panel below the steering wheel, so no problems there, and I am sure I can find the one above the radio.
Anyone know where the other two are, and whether they are vertical (like the 4) or horizontal?
Any information appreciated.
Be great if a photo of a binnacle from the back could be provided
regards
Peter

One of them is a real Heath-Robinson affair: A tube-nut on the end of a piece of silicone hose - I kid you not! It's bottom left corner, at the front.

It's called a "pulsert" and pulsert extension.Pete Boole wrote:One of them is a real Heath-Robinson affair: A tube-nut on the end of a piece of silicone hose - I kid you not! It's bottom left corner, at the front.

And they still use them...they even still have the official original A075 part numbers...

They're the clips that (fail to) hold the trim panels in the footwells.Pete Boole wrote:crapsert more like
