If you were talking about front brakes on an Eclat/Elite then I'd suggest 4 pot Subaru calipers on Citroen Xantia V6 (283x 26mm) discs like I've done -
this looks ideal and rather simple to build.
did this set up squeeze under the standard small wheels?
I shall go and find your thread.
Thanks you

Brake stuff is on page 6 of my build thread over on TLF

There's plenty of space around the 15" front wheels I'm using but can't be sure about the std 14" ones as I'd already sold them on when I got around to doing the brake upgrade. If you're local (South Yorks), or know anyone who is, then you're welcome to fetch one here to try
I have templates for the brackets here too.

Your hub spacers look good Nick - who made those?

I got them online to fit the new wheel PCD/centre bore but then got them machined to fit the hub. They place the new wheels exactly where the old ones were ET wise.

This Subaru brake upgrade looks very appealing indeed.
i shall jump across and read up on the other site how you managed it.
thank you for the advice
