8 tracks! If only I could record on to them at home, I'd have one in flash.

I've got a lot of good vintage hifi still in use at home, turntable, A-class amp, FM tuner, CD, MD and 10 inch reel-to-reel studio-quality decks, including a nice Onkyo 3 head cassette player/recorder... good for recording great sounding hifi cassettes for the car (new blank cassettes still available :) ).
Make sense for me as both Clan and Excel still have their original cassette-radios. And there's nowt like playing original pre-recorded 70's/80'w cassettes in a 70's/80's cars, .... Santana, Bowie, Stevie Wonder, Wings, Joni Mitchel, Neil Young, Paul Simon, Bob Dylan, Stolling Rones and 'Yes' originals all play well ~ 50 years on and adds to the classic driving experience... as does the anticipatory tension afforded by the long and re-winding road sections  .
