Re: Excel in next Matthewsons auction
Drove over there today but when I got there they said that veiwing was by appointment! I was intending to do a bit of a report on here for prospective buyers ...bidding is online/commission/telephone only...no live audience.
Anyhow, I could just about see the car through the wire gate around the back of the shop (it's stored outside by the looks of it) ...green metallic paint looks good at least.
Mind you, the fully restored MGB next to it looked better!

Re: Excel in next Matthewsons auction
Just bear in mind that within the £7000 - £9000 estimate, an additional 7.5% fees, plus admin, +VAT adds pain for both buyer and seller.
Reality Check :
(bored, so I fired-up the spreadsheet )
I think I'd rather buy or sell my Lotus privately (or through this forum)!

- Buyer pays:.......................£7630 - £9810 plus travel/shipping.
