I am selling my 1974 Type 75 Lotus Elite 502 (with heritage certificate)
I have spent many thousands on this car to get it mechanically up to scratch.
The work I have carried out includes.
Reconditioned water pump, re-cored (3 core) radiator, refurbished carburettors, reconditioned distributor, stainless Steele exhaust, front brakes callipers and disks, rear brakes new cylinders and shoes, new brake flexy hoses, reconditioned master cylinder, serviced front and rear suspension, only a few hundred miles on refurbished rear UV/drives shafts, rear suspension chassis link mod, tidied under bonnet wiring, re-hung drivers door, 4 new toyo tyres, The headlight vacuum system is serviced and works, pulse many other small jobs.
The engine has been pressure tested and there is no serious wear from the valves or piston rings.
I Have a history file going back to the 90s.
Now the car requires cosmetic work, a respray and interior refresh,
there are A couple of issues (other then the cosmetics) the tail gate pops up of its own accord from time to time and the heater doesn't work.
I have just serviced and MOTd the car.
I have a new galvanises chassis (the original is serviceable see MOT) and a spare gearbox which I can do deal to include in his sale or sell separately.
