Re: Two Excels on Car & Classic Auctions
Just read the description of this white car on C&C.
What does "used briefly as a daily driver" mean? Went to work one day in it?
OK, so itdid 6000 miles in 2019/20, but at its MOT in 2020, it had more miles on the clock than it does now - 2 years ago. Although the advert does say the Speedo doesn't behave! Impossible therefore to know how far it's been in last 2 years.
Plenty to be sorted still on this car IMO. Paintwork seems decent, so overall, maybe a respectable price for both parties.

Im surprised you can get a cd past the gearstick, mines got the original setup but I didnt think a cd player would work.

I can get a CD in (depending on what gear I'm in!). But my stereo fits better, the one in that car is sticking out a bit. Also mine is black so it's not such an eyesore in the slot as that silver one

Re: Two Excels on Car & Classic Auctions
Your better off having a cassette player. I still have the original Clarion but I use a Blue Tooth converter cassette so I can play music from my phone and take calls. No CD's or tapes taking up room in the car. I have a long play list on the phone and use that.

The green one sold for £10,500. It looks like a nice car although the headlining is starting to droop by the look of it.
What car is that?
