Spark Plugs- Screwing in of.!

I was replacing spark plugs on the Excel yesterday, in a way that I have done for years, when my son in law, commented on what a good idea it was!!

As I have done it this way since the 70's, it has just become second nature.

I use a short length of rigid nylon air tubing, that is a push fit over just the electrode of the spark plug.

This allows you to see what you are doing, and by gently twisting the plug into place, it's almost impossible to cross thread it.

Scew in 'til it comes off, finish with normal, spanner and torque wrench.
