Central locking loom

For all those wiring gremlins we love, this is the place to discuss them.

Central locking loom

Post by amarshall »

Where does the CL loom run inside the car? I need to chop out a section and splice in some new wire and I think it might be easier to do somewhere towards the middle of the car if the loom is easily accessible.

Parts Manual suggests it runs somewhere along the bottom of the dash - does that sound about right?

I cut in to mine in the drivers door. Had to add an Extra actuator so I could ad CDL fob.

Never mind - it's the splice inside the door where I had to swap the plug from the old actuator onto a replacement about 8 years ago.

Still interested in knowing where it runs inside the car, though - just in case.
