Passenger footwell relays & Fuses

Discovered that someone had been hoking and poking in around the relays and fuses that are in behind the kickboard in the passenger relay and has left them like this.... like a kid tidying his room by chucking all in the wardrobe and trying to shut the door on it all

So my aim is to leave it as it should be stacking the fuses and relays in order on the mounting plate. Problem is... I know the correct order from the handbook but haven't a clue which is which in front of me. Would anyone be able to upload a couple of photos trying to show the correct arrangement and the wires also.

Thanks,
Dwayne

Hi Dwayne.

Hopefully this write up will help.

It lists wire colours and relay pin ref.

2x means 2 wires to that pin

The window lift relays are easier done by their fuse wires as linked to relay.

The fuses should be ok by rating

This is what I have, I will try to get a picture of the back a bit later - no guarantees that it hasn't been fiddled with in the past though.

Edited to say that this is from a 1987 Excel....not sure if there were changes to your year.

Pic of the back of the fuses and relays in my car - ignore the wiring in the background - that is for the Lexus ECU....

Only getting around to figuring this out now.

Thanks to each of you, all input was very useful. Same layout except for the earlier cars having the window lift fuses and relays below the beam changeover, whereas on mine it's two fuses for a car telephone. Now who has one of those!

and this was my handbook for future reference

Hopefully we're right.
