Squeeky clutch pedal
Noticed yesterday that when I press the clutch down it squeaks quite loudly. No other problems with the car and doesn't happen on the way back up. Should I be concerned?

Hi, is this a pedal box or clutch sound?

The pedal might just need lubricating - best done from above through the instrument panel, but you can try from underneath.

I'd be tempted to leave it well alone. Best see Marshalls law for the reason. Also if that's the only problem you have I'm somewhat jealous.
Re: Squeeky clutch pedal
mine did that so i squirted spray grease on the pivot and spring. That was 12months ago and still quiet.

Yep my vote goes for lube on the pedal box pivots. The clutch has a lever arrangement to move the thrust across to the right.

Just wondering if you ever had a really still pedal.. Jammed slave etc? The connecting lever mentioned above can and does bend and I think this can strain the pivot pissibly causing your squeak. If you can see it, is the lever in line with the pushrod?
