Battery bulb is good and all seems ok. Still get slight flickering of volt meter with blinker operation but I believe this is probably not unusual. I am thinking it may be a slight ground problem at the volt meter or elsewhere. I am going to test the alternator directly to try and track the problem.

Add a new earth from the alternator to the car chassis and maybe even a new feed cable from the alternator to the Main battery post on the starter and you will be amazed at the difference in starting, performance and instruments!
