W58 overhaul manual

Following on from the recent post about the maxi box, this is a link to a manual for the W58 gearbox. Note this is not from Lotus, so I don’t know if there are any differences, but thought it may be useful to someone.

May I ask which Lotus car the W58 is fitted to. I believe the Elite (2nd version) had a Maxi box but it does not look like the one in this overhaul manual.

The W58 is from the 80's Toyota Supra. Can you guess the Lotus now.

I do still have my old.gearbox if you are after one to rebuild Pete. It was absolutely fine apart from the sloppy lever action, no synchro issues or wine.
