Mine was going to come up for sale in the spring as I thought it would be better timing. I could sell now if you were interested though.
It's a 1987 Blue SE with a quite a few thousand spent on it bringing it up to scratch. Ive owned if for nearly 10 years. All the usual Excel problems have been addressed. The rebuilt engine has only got 3k miles on it. It has 3d mapped ignition which makes it run very well. (Dyno prints available)
I also retrofitted air con which works brilliantly.
There's too much to list really, so if interested please pm me for a chat.
Cheers,
Andy.

Hi Andy,
Many thanks for your response.
Just had a quick scoot through your car's history and rebuild updates - that must have been great for similar enthusiasts to follow.
Might I ask that you send me a few photos of the car, (if available) a summary of works you have done along with the sort of money you would be looking for to part with your Excel.
Best wishes,
Nigel
Hi Brian,B. Swankie wrote: ↑Sat Nov 21, 2020 12:20Hi there, I can see that you are not keen on an SA car, but have you driven one? it might just surprise you how nice a drive it is! and the good bit is I have a restored one for sale that has had a fortune spent on it. If you are at all interested I can let you know what has been done to the car and send photos. The car is in Fife Scotland.
Cheers,
Brian Swankie.

Although I haven't driven an Excel auto, I have my heart set on a manual gearbox.

Stu,
That is so kind of you - I will bear it in mind.
Only been on this Forum for a matter of days and I can't believe how welcoming and helpful people have been on the topic of Excels. Fantastic!!
Thanks again,
Nigel
