Does anyone have any Elite/Eclat front seats they no longer want - It doesn't matter how bad they are! I'm starting some experiments to recreate the seat foams and I need some old ones to mess on with
Thanks
Pete

Think they havent moved since.

Re: Elite/Eclat front seats
I have saved an old double mattress foam that feels about the right density (is there a way to test this?) as I think one of the seat squabs is a bit soft on my car. You are welcome to some of this if you need it, and if you find a way to recreate the cushions without too much work, we might be able to buy some off you and sell them on for the club if you are interested!

Re: Elite/Eclat front seats
Thanks guys. My plan is to use the original seat foam to create bucks (patterns) - not sure how yet, but have a couple of ideas - then to make a super-stiff all-enclosed split mould that can be filled with two-pack self-foaming polyurethane. The moulds will need to be really strong because of the pressure that builds up. Well - that's plan A!

Re: Elite/Eclat front seats
Let's have a chat on the next Zoom meet Pete.
I have two spares, that last time I looked had decent foam. was thinking of doing 2 seats in leather and 2 to the original trim, so not exactly spare, but if it's patterns your looking for, I may be able to help.

Re: Elite/Eclat front seats
Cheers Tony. I've got a local auto upholstery guy making mock-up head rest covers to try and fit them over the steel/foam headrests - looks impossible to me - the "neck" below the headrest is so small - but they must have done it in the factory somehow. Anyone know how?
