Consider a restrictor in the oil feed to the head - talk to Mike at Lotusbits about it - he can supply the restrictor. It helps stop the over-supply of oil to the top end and hence more gets to the bearings.

Tanks will definitively look into that.
Where does the restrictor go?
Mike mentioned some modification on the oilpump/distributor assembly that was suposed to rice the oil pressure that he allready made on the assembly when he rebuilt it, but I did not see the difference in pressureafter I assembled it. Would make sens if it only changes the propotion of upper and lower pressure. Is that the modification you are talking about or where does the restrictor go?

The restrictor is threaded either into the head or the block just above or below the head gasket. It is basically a drilled-through M8 grub screw. You need to tap/thread the oilway drilling in either the head or block - I put mine in the block.

Ok then I wonder what was the mod Mike made to my oil pump assembly?
A stiffer spring maby or what?

Anyway to thread an restrictor makes sense to me so that one will be done.

I guess it would also make sense to try to seal the whole pickup line good too to negate it from sucking air and hench not leting the oil flow back to te sump when the engine is stopped. Might be an feutale attempt but as no harm will be done i will put extra care on the reassembly.

I think Lotusbits sometimes shim the oil pressure relief valve slightly - maybe that was done? Other than radiusing all the oilways and checking the end float there is little to be done with the oil pump.
