I never figured out how they assembled the seats at the factory, the seems on the headrests looked like done with a machine but the only way I could do them was by stiching the 10cm on both sides at the narrow part by hand through the old holes, it took me some time to do but it looks factory. Still would like to know the propper way, as there has to be one.

This is the first prototype of the Luisi steeringwheel custom center.

The first one, as I did miss a mesurement, it is sadly a few millimeter the wrong size but otherwise it's coming out nice. I havent got my wheel yet either but here a picture of rhe prosess.

I have re done the center in correct size now. An other thing I did with the new version was to make new fixing rings to mount it to the car. I did two rings with O-ring growes so that the center can be adsembled and disasembled easy.

Its been also covered with leather so it should match the steering wheel nicely.

So am I, sadly the steering wheel is not here jet so I have to be patient and wait. I have been to the shop testing it on a wheel they have there that is from the wrong material, so it should fit as soon as I get the wheel here in my spec. They only had wheels with the yelow centering stripe and that would not have been nice so I ordered one in black leather and without the stripe, the shop said it might take a while.

I do not have the wheel but here is a comparison of the orginal and new showing the difference in visibility.

I drow by the shop today and tried the center on the wheel they had there it fitted perfectly, so now I just wait for my wheel to arrive whitout the Center line then I also have to paint of the Luisi text that is partially shoving but thats easy and fast.

Yes excactly, so next summer I will not embares my self driving mile after mile with the indikator still blinking happily after the last lane change.

Now I have my steering wheel.
