Welcome Chris.

Saw your car on eBay and thought it looked really special with the Supra wheels and that interior looks amazing 👍

I'm sure you'll love it and it will certainly keep you busy. The guys on here are really helpful too which is a big part of the ownership experience.

Enjoy!

Andy

Welcome

Besides fluids make sure you replace cambelt before running engine.

A little video I made to show how to embed photos on here - https://youtu.be/T-tT37TbFd0

Congratulations on getting yourself an Excel!

If you can't free up the clutch by the "brutal" method don't be afraid of pulling the engine/gearbox to get in at the clutch, it's not too hard if you have (or can borrow/rent) an engine hoist.

If the engine continues to be lumpy with new fuel, check the ignition timing first, and new spark plugs/leads/coil/distributor cap/rotor arm to ensure the spark is good. If it's still not running nicely, it may be worth stripping and cleaning the carbs. Rebuild kits (basically new gaskets and float valves) don't cost too much, and it's unlikely anything else in there will need replacing. Do one at a time so you can use the other as a reference to how it should go back together!!
