Happy new year to you Bash and the rest of the crew on here too. I'm looking forward to this year's car shows including the Lotus In The Peak weekend

Yep - Happy New Year to everyone! I'm really missing seeing like-minded people! Hopefully we'll meet up again this year.

Looking forward to dropping both the mask and social distancing that's for sure!

And it's not just you, I suspect some forum folk have migrated elsewhere. No idea who, where or why 'cos I don't do FB or TLF.

Happy new year everyone.

Numbers are more or less the same but slowly improving new members since the joining problems have been resolved.

It is the flow of chatter which has dwindled due to little or no activity in the world to report.

FB does have goings on but it's spread over 5 or 6 different similar named forums and is like Groundhog day.

Happy new year one and all, looking forward to a brighter 2021.

I think you're right about the lack of activity - there's a bit less to talk about when you're in lockdown.

I feel like I've been SORN'd together with my Excel for the last few months...

It’s been a dreadful year hasn’t it?

Anyway to cheer myself up I went for a 40 mile drive around the empty tier 3 roads of Worcestershire this afternoon. It made me smile. Even more because I wasn’t expecting the car to start after spending the Christmas period in the freezing cold - but it started first turn!

I think a few people only use Facebook these days, but just for chit chat. You don’t get the valuable repository of information that people post here and on TLF, but it is a shame they don’t post here any more.

Maybe those who are also in a Facebook group could post a link when people ask for info that we have here?

Cheers, Richard

Happy New Year to you all.

I'd like to thank you all on this friendly forum for all the help and advice provided over the last year or so. It's great to engage in some of the banter too!

I'm still hoping the right SA will turn up one day but have bought a TVR to fiddle with in the meantime...

Stay safe and healthy all and here's to a better 2021 👍

All the best,

Andy

Happy New Year to all.
What a year to choose to get back into Lotusing proper. Very much looking forward to meeting many of you at events when they're allowed to restart.

Personally, I've resisted Faceplant or what ever it's called. Far prefer forums and definitely favour this one over TLF. Don't mind reading a bit about other general Lotus matters and other lotus models, but the relevance of this site can't be beaten IMO.

Keep up the banter and let's see more 'restarts' on threads like Bash's RV8 installation. I missed this stuff first time around and spent a good time this evening reading it cover to cover. Great work Bash... Had never been tempted by such ambitious conversions before, but following Neil and knowing what Pete's upto is wetting my appetite.
