Well guys, seem we have a very local little group going, so name the pub for a meet up. Lions at Bledlow ? Or somewhere with a better car park might better.

Great idea Pete. Nigel are you up for it too?
The Lions is an alright pub , but the car park is up a track that is a bit rough .
If there is anyone else in the local area wants to add their name to a meet up, please do so.
HP postcode . We can then sort out a day/ evening that suits everyone.

Just had a heads up about a car meet on the 27TH of this month at HAZELMERE GOLF CLUB (Amersham Rd. from High Wycombe , Bucks) ,just turn up , no entry fee etc. Went last year and it was packed with so many old /collectable/rare and exotic cars.
So would expect the same .Will confirm the date and any more info as soon as I know.... Apparently its a word of mouth event and doesn't get formally advertised ,but there must have been over 160 cars there last time I went.

Mine is currently SORNed  , whilst I finish respraying it.
I would have popped into Hazlemere but am away that week.
Hopefully I can finish respray in July and be back on the road.😀

Lotus addiction update
Having purchased the Excel in June (AND LOVING IT) I am now proud owner of an ECLAT for restoration, & an Esprit x180 which i have just had resprayed and ceramic coated ,it looks like new!
One question ,
What should I be getting miles per gallon from the esprit? Seems its doing approx 12 at the moment! The Excel is around 23 -25
I am not foot happy and i don't rev the nuts off either of them.
Thanks in anticipation
Ric

My Excel got 17-21 before I rebuilt the engine. Now it gets 25-32. If you’re getting 12 in the Esprit you’re either driving like a nutter (which would be understandable!), or something ain’t right.
