I'm surprised how quiet it's been this weekend.
Maybe we're all freshening the cars up ready for the meet ups in the next month or two.

Weekends are for working on the car - will have some updates and questions on my thread later!

Have been past the Face Book page a couple of times, not sure there's much traffic moving to it from here to be honest.

Neil.

The new Lotus Grand Tourers group. Further segmenting the limited number of owners into different cliques... or just requiring membership of multiple similar groups, often with the same people posting across different groups.

You won't be finding me on there anytime soon. If threads just roll through and can't be searched, I'm not interested.

I used to be on fbuck but didnt like the way people just expected a reply instead of actually making an effort to look for the information that was readily available. Also some were needlessly stroppy, so I chucked out.
I agree with richard, too many judean peoples fronts is bad ( ps, I think thats the first time Ive seen one of those new fangled moving pictures on this site, well done )

Pps, I spent 3 hours in the garage today and found a spoon.

Richard, you know the background, you know why we felt we should set up our own group - given the history we all wish wasn’t there, what would you suggest?

I have had a look at TLF (worthy, but superficial) and Angus's .co.uk effort to derail .net and (tbh) they don't hold a candle to the archive we have here. Buttttt to my simple mind, setting up a LGT fb group SEEMS to be an extension of the sub-clique that has developed on here as a result of the spat with Angus, and yes, emphasises the SPLIT?

Take the previous TLF umbrella offer - assuming it will make THIS forum function as it should- esp. regarding picture posting. Then the current tlf excel/ecat/elite group are likely to take more notice of our resource and aggregate around it.

Otherwise the Fb 'outpost' battle just looks like the sour grapes split, it probably is.
