The Lotus Grand Tourers

Having had a lovely Lotus Excel for some 7 odd years I quite fancy getting a toy model to add to my Elan and Elise models.

I looked at auto jumbles and ebay but to no avail.

Do any of our members know if one was ever produced?

There was a small run made by Spark a few years ago but there not made now.

They sold very quickly because of the limited numbers, I wasnt quick enough and Ive been trying to get one for about 10 years, so good luck !!

We did enquire of Spark a while ago if they would produce any more, but I think numbers were not sufficient.

I too have been on a trail looking for scale models of lotus in general .
Not been lucky enough to find an Excel, but did obtain an Elite that Corgi produced .
